Nobody Special is a performance work for one audience member at a time.

You are left alone – onstage – with MKA’s infamous sibling duo Kerith and Tobias Manderson-Galvin, as they perform the greatest story ever told: Your life. Or somebody’s life. A life.

Delivering experimental contemporary performance these theatrical outlaws trouble the borderlines between agent and witness, fiction and IRL, premeditated and spontaneous. Nobody Special grapples the chimerical epic of an ordinary person. Or the chosen one. Or an unfortunate individual.

There is only one character (You). A lie detector test. A marching band. A ghost hunt. All the while those Manderson-Galvins prepare themselves as if in readiness for the inevitable voyage to the underworld, and ask: Can we circumvent the cult of personality, living as anonymous heroes? How long can we live in the moment while the universe speeds towards the fatal final freeze?

Nobody Special is the first in a Trilogy by Nobody Special (Tobias and Kerith Manderson-Galvin and guests) preceding ‘False Profits’ and ‘Deep Fakes’.
